1992. Trial production begins

1996. Official creation, UPRANIMAL, LDA

UPRANIMAL, is a quota company created by Mr. António Inácio da Silveira, with the aim of producing and marketing animal feed. At the time it was a factory with a capacity of one ton per hour, where 6 workers worked.

2000. Production increase

Given the impossibility of making new investments in the factory, either by its location or by the scarcity of space for its expansion, the company’s management made the decision to increase the work shifts, in order to respond to the constant increases in demand for its products.

2006. Start of construction of the manufacturing unit

A new manufacturing unit was designed, with the start of work in the
second half of 2007.

2008. Completion of the manufacturing unit

Completion of the works and the beginning of the test period of the new factory. In May of the same year, the new plant began to operate.
